Job Title: Light Duty Cleaner

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Laugh N' Learn ABC Guarderia. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas.
  • Lost and Found: Handle and report lost and found items.
  • Customer Service: Provide basic information on facilities, address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Pick up debris and empty trash containers, clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls and ceilings.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
