Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at KLN CARPET CLEANING AND GENERAL SERVICES. As a Light Duty Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to a high standard
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and dust-free environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to ensure a hygienic environment
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized space
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy space
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • 40 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
