About the Role

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Consultant to join its International Offices Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of Saskatchewan's international engagement priorities through strategic policy support, stakeholder engagement, and intergovernmental relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Policy Support: Design and support communication channels between the international network and senior leadership in Saskatchewan.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Scope and manage stakeholder engagement related to the international network.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Facilitate reporting related to the Government of Saskatchewan's Growth Plan goals for its international network, and analyze trends, impacts, and performance indicators.
  • Advice and Briefing: Prepare advice and briefing senior leaders in relation to Saskatchewan's international network.
  • Relationship Building: Build strategic relationships with international, federal, provincial, and inter-ministry partners to advance Saskatchewan's priorities, related to its international network.
Requirements
  • International Business Development Acumen: Strong understanding of international business development principles and practices.
  • Saskatchewan's Economic Drivers: Knowledge of Saskatchewan's economic drivers, opportunities, and international Growth Plan objectives.
  • Communication Skills: Proven written and oral communication skills in a variety of formats and for a variety of audiences.
  • Relationship Building: Talent in building and maintaining relationships, while demonstrating cultural diplomacy.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Track record of successful stakeholder/client engagement and management.
  • Adaptability: Desire to embrace change and navigate through ambiguity.
  • Team Spirit: Unshakable team spirit.
