Lakeridge Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for utilizing ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality sonographic images required to complete examinations.
Key Responsibilities:- Under the supervision of Radiologists, Charge Sonographer, Senior Sonographer &/or Manager, utilize ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality sonographic images.
- Work effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent and prompt patient care.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro, and interventional ultrasound.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
- Successful completion of a recognized Ultrasound program.
- Current registration with the C.M.R.I.T.O. required.
- Significant experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, neuro, and interventional ultrasound procedures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and exercise independent judgment.
