Job Summary

The Department Head position at Gillman Home Center is a key role that requires a high level of customer service, product knowledge, and leadership skills. As a Department Head, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and supervising a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Treat all customers with courtesy and respect, answer questions, and resolve customer concerns.
  2. Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels, monitor and adjust min/max order points, and complete purchase orders.
  3. Team Supervision: Supervise a team of sales associates, provide guidance and support, and ensure a safe working environment.
  4. Store Operations: Assist with opening and closing the store, maintain store appearance, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  1. Education: High School Diploma or GED
  2. Experience: 2+ years of customer service experience, 1+ year of retail job experience, and 2+ years of product knowledge of items in assigned department
