Responsibilities:

  • Design and detail mineral processing equipment using Solidworks.
  • Generate detail drawings, BOMs, engineering datasheets, and other related documents.
  • Perform mechanical engineering calculations and stress analysis.
  • Provide design direction and support to the engineering department.
  • Liaise with other company departments to provide engineering support.
  • Ensure the design of processing equipment adheres to current standards and incorporates the latest technology.
  • Work with the procurement department to incorporate global sourcing and pricing into product estimates.
  • Research and implement new equipment design and product lines as directed by management.
  • Comply with internal engineering standards.

Requirements:

  • Professional Engineer designation in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with powertrain design required.
  • Expert in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent computer skills and communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Versatile, highly motivated, and self-starter able to plan, organize, and work as a leader.
