Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales & Service Representative to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our branch, you will play a vital role in driving profitable sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell a diverse range of products, promoting our Private Brands, Technical Services, and ecommerce channels to drive business growth.
  • Contribute to improving branch profitability and product Gross Margin through proactive sales and service initiatives.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt delivery and excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our products, including completion of required training programs.
  • Provide product and service information to customers, making recommendations and offering solutions to meet their needs.
  • Adhere to our 5S program and contribute to maintaining a clean and organized branch environment.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with safety policies and procedures, including WHMIS and Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.
  • Perform other branch support duties as required, including supporting warehouse functions and assisting with customer inquiries.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, with a strong work ethic and personal commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Demonstrated focus on building strong relationships with customers, with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial and/or safety products is an asset, as is proficiency in computer skills and aptitude.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle (if driving required).
Work Environment

This role requires significant daily interaction with team members, managers, customers, and local sellers. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a moderate noise level and frequent distractions. The majority of time is spent standing and walking, with regular use of computer, keyboard, and mouse.

Working Relationships

This team member will partner with customers, vendors, and contractors, fostering open communication and collaboration across internal business partners. The successful candidate will contribute to building strong community relationships and support the sales team through up-selling, service, pricing, delivery, and inventory inquiries.
