Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Advisor to join our team at Royal Bank of Canada. As an Associate Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional client service and support to our Investment Advisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your excellent communication skills to facilitate meetings and events for our Investment Advisors with their clients and prospects.
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to provide proactive client service, working collaboratively with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
  • Effectively respond to client account inquiries and take ownership of follow-ups.
  • Contribute to building and executing business plans, client segmentation exercises, and client service plans.
  • Identify opportunities for asset consolidation and referrals across the existing client base.
  • Support our advisory team with new client acquisition.
  • Nurture and manage valuable relationships with Centers of Influence (COIs) and RBC partners.

Requirements

  • Approval as a Registered Representative (RR) with IIROC.
  • Successful completion of the Wealth Management Essentials (WME) course or Investment Management Techniques (IMT).
  • University degree.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
