Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to join our team at Steelage Construction Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Budgeting: Prepare and submit accurate construction project budget estimates.
  • Scheduling and Planning: Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Contract Management: Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control to ensure high-quality construction projects.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to ensure accurate construction.
  • Budget Management: Plan and manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Material Procurement: Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions.
  • Data Analysis: Oversee the analysis of data and information to inform construction decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports to stakeholders on project progress and performance.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction management.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
