Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Coach to lead our badminton team at Wing's Badminton Corp. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing training and practice sessions, as well as motivating and preparing athletes for competitive events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Plan, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our athletes.
  • Team Management: Motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events, ensuring they are physically and mentally prepared to perform at their best.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze and evaluate the performance of our athletes, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Recruitment: Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance, identifying potential team members.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a coaching or leadership role, preferably in badminton.
  • Work Environment: Our team operates in a non-smoking, air-conditioned environment.
  • Work Setting: Our team competes in badminton events and tournaments.
  • Transportation/Travel: Willingness to travel for competitions and events.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and sound discrimination.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
