About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Lobster Processor at NOCA Canadian Seafood Buyer, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Preparation: Cut, clean, and trim fish or seafood prior to marketing or further processing.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for defects and ensure conformance to company standards, performing corrective machine adjustments as required.
  • Crustacean Dissection: Disjoint and remove meat from lobsters or other crustaceans preparatory to canning or further processing.
  • Record Keeping: Record production information.
  • Machine Operation: Set up and operate machines to can, bag, box, or otherwise package fish and seafood products.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Clean and maintain work space.
Working Conditions
  • Noisy Environment: Work in a noisy environment.
  • Odor Exposure: Be exposed to odors.
  • Cold Temperatures: Work in cold or refrigerated environments.
  • Wet Conditions: Work in wet or damp conditions.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available for shift or on-call work.
  • Work Eligibility: Be currently legally able to work in Canada.
  • Residency: Currently reside in proximity to the advertised location.
