Kitchen Manager

Saskatchewan LTD is seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that our team is equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory management, food safety, and quality control.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and culinary programs.
- Ensure that our kitchen meets all relevant health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation standards.
- 5-10 years of experience in a kitchen management role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff, inventory, and operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, including HACCP and food handling protocols.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
