Lumentum Canada is a leading company in the optical technology industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Vice President of Finance to join our team. As a Vice President of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in steering our company through complex financial landscapes and driving substantial business growth.

About the Role

This senior leadership position involves direct collaboration with the executive team and a significant opportunity to shape strategic financial initiatives. You will be responsible for providing expert financial analysis and strategic recommendations to enhance business decisions and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the strategic planning processes, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and optimize business performance.
  • Provide insightful and intuitive reporting packages for stakeholders, making complex data accessible and actionable.
  • Partner with R&D to manage New Product Introduction (NPI) business investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial objectives.
  • Supervise, mentor and coach finance team members.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced financial leader who possesses a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
