Job Title: Vice President, Finance

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Finance to join our team at Stonewood Group Inc. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the financial operations of our company, providing strategic financial guidance, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions
  • Manage the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls
  • Oversee the accounting and treasury functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, financial institutions, and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of senior financial management experience, preferably in a publicly traded company
  • CPA/CMA/CGA/CA designation
  • Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing teams and driving business growth
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, employees, and external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed business decisions
