Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Up North Dental Corporation. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide support as needed
  • Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations

Requirements:

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
