Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Up North Dental Corporation. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Deliver messages, reports, and specimens between departments.
  • Supervise patients' exercise routines and provide guidance on healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Transport patients in wheelchairs or stretchers, as needed.
  • Answer call signals to determine patients' needs and respond accordingly.
  • Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving, and sterilizing operative areas.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
