Job Title: Nurse Leader

Yee Hong Centre for Geriatric Care is seeking a skilled Nurse Leader to join our team. As a Nurse Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents while also supervising and coordinating the work of Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) in the unit.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gerontology and experience in staff supervision. They will also possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients/residents.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct care to residents, including assessment, care planning, education, and documentation
  • Supervising and coordinating the work of RPNs in the unit
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external clients/residents
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to a safe and inclusive work environment
