**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse Leader to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a Clinical Nurse Leader, you will play a key role in providing quality patient care to our patients in the Medicine Unit.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Collaborate with the inter-professional healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide patient-centered care, promoting safety, physiological, and psychological well-being.
- Practice according to infection control and prevention measures.
- Respond to emergency situations, recognizing changes in patient health status and consulting appropriately.
- Provide health teaching to patients and families, ensuring continuity of care in the community.
**Qualifications:**
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Sound knowledge of nursing process, theory, and responsibilities to the nursing profession.
- BCLS required.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a member of the inter-professional team.
- Knowledge of patient and family-centered care.
- Experience with patient and family health teaching.
- Leadership and facilitation skills.
- Excellent customer service, organizational, and critical-thinking skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.
- Exemplary clinical practice with an inter-professional team.
- Ability to prioritize patient care needs and make autonomous decisions.
- Excellent physical assessment skills.
- Ability to promote a healthy work environment and practice excellent client safety guidelines.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

- May be required to travel and work between all Osler sites.
- Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work record.
- Knowledge and understanding of information systems and technology.
**Additional Information:**
- Hours: Days, Evenings, 8 hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements).
