Job Overview

Egis is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager Rail Infrastructure to lead our rail projects in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the design to ensure a complete and fully integrated final design is achieved to meet the quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Managing the design, construction and system integration across all packages and interfacing projects to ensure the programme is adhered to in terms of safety approvals, technical approvals and acceptance of each stage in accordance with I-SET - Engineering Management for Projects.
  2. Coordinating and collaborating with all stakeholders to deliver a cost-effective, high-quality and safe approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities.
  3. Providing technical support to the overall commercial and contract management for the project.
  4. Contributing to reporting safety, technical, programme and cost.
  5. Managing project controls (design submissions/RFIs/submittals/meeting minutes/approval of processes).

Requirements

  1. Degree in either Project or Construction Management, Engineering, or related project management qualification.
  2. Experienced in using NEC 3 or 4 contracts, preferably Option C - target cost contracts at post-contract stage.
  3. Working knowledge of NEC Contract Mechanisms.
  4. Coordinating design development and construction activities to deliver a cost-effective, high-quality and safe approach to design, construction, commissioning and other technical activities.
