About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at The Bucket Shop Inc. As an Industrial Mechanic and Millwright, you will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and Install Mechanical Equipment: Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery, using blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on machinery, detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions, and repair or replace defective machinery parts.
  • Operate Machinery and Equipment: Operate machining tools to fabricate parts, install machinery and equipment, and commission systems and components.
  • Work in a Team Environment: Work in a team environment, coach and instruct apprentices, and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field.
  • Certifications: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
