Job Title: Industrial Mechanic and Millwright

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic and Millwright to join our team at The Bucket Shop Inc. As an Industrial Mechanic and Millwright, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment and machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery
  • Coach and instruct apprentices in the trade
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment and machinery
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Install and commission systems and components
  • Feed conveyors, crushers, and other equipment
Requirements:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Trade Certification
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Endorsement
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Team player
