Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our team at 2588729 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train and develop our team members in duties and policies to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management, providing insights and recommendations to improve our financial operations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and systems, identifying and resolving any technical issues that may arise.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Provide technical advice and guidance to our team members, resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure the accuracy of our financial transactions, maintaining the integrity of our financial records.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and assign work to our team members, reviewing their progress and providing feedback to ensure they are meeting their goals.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, ensuring that our team has the necessary resources to perform their duties.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on our equipment and systems, ensuring that they are functioning properly.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate activities with other work units or departments, ensuring that our team is working effectively with other teams to achieve our goals.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure that our team is working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to handle a large caseload.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, reliable, and ability to work in a team environment.
