Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Direct and control daily operations, evaluate daily operations, and manage staff and assign duties.
- Market Research: Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors' operations on sales.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine merchandise and services to be sold, implement price and credits policies, and determine staffing requirements.
- Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration.
The Retail Operations Manager will supervise 3-4 people and provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees. Additionally, the manager will provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth and provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years or equivalent experience
The Retail Operations Manager will work 37.5 hours per week in a fast-paced retail environment. The work language is English.
