$100,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

About the Role

We are seeking a Strategic Business Outcomes Specialist to join our project team. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the planning and execution of projects from ideation to completion.

You will consistently deliver results by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, removing roadblocks, and focusing on outcomes that exceed partner expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project team on planning, prioritization, and design.
  • Ensure the project team stays focused on the business problem being solved.
  • Work with the project team to define and manage project scope.
  • Develop business workflows by creating AS IS and TO BE processes.
  • Document business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Create, monitor, and review sprint plans for optimization opportunities.
  • Organize and lead working sessions and project update meetings within various levels of the organization.
  • Work closely with business and technical team members to support project deliverables.
  • Identify project issues/roadblocks and develop steps for mitigation and resolution.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on project and process improvements.
  • Mentor junior resources.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent IT experience.
  • 5+ years of BA experience.
  • Experience working within a Scrum framework/agile practices.
  • Experience working on Digital Implementations.
  • CIP certified or strong insurance knowledge.
  • Scrum Master experience is an asset.
  • Customer/business-focused, strong partner management, and results-oriented.
  • Consistent focus on business outcomes and benefits.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills.
  • Superior communication skills, formal and informal.
  • Process-oriented when creating and maintaining project artifacts.
