We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Heritage Asian Eatery. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards, and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Teamwork: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, and work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve menu goals and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all dishes are prepared to order and presented in a timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic work setting.
- Transportation: Own transportation is required for this role.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role requires standing for extended periods, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
