Job Description

This role involves engaging clients/patients living with mental health conditions and/or addictions in experiential learning of life skills and providing support in the recovery journey. You will also participate in outreach and group activities to support the Care Services teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and empower clients or patients in living their best possible life through one-on-one support and group activities.
  • Assist Care Managers and GAIN team members in carrying out care plans and recommendations while respecting client choices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • One to two years' experience working in health/social services, providing support to individuals with addictions from a harm reduction perspective.
  • Lived experience with the mental health and addictions system and a continuous journey of recovery.
  • Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
