Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

MINT LEAF SWEETS & RESTAURANT is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres to provide exceptional dining experiences.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays to ensure presentation and quality standards are met.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and efficient operations.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
