Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement ensure that all customer service expectations are met by staff; maintain positive relationships within the community (e.g. animal welfare organizations)
Team Management oversee a group of employees including but not limited to hiring, scheduling, training, daily task assignments, supervision, and coaching
Operational Compliance ensure that all staff follow the standards and procedures established at the corporate level
Administrative Duties manage order placements, maintain adequate inventory levels, ensure completion of store and safety audits, coordinate minor repairs, and complete various corporate documentation
Performance Outcomes coordinate the efforts of store personnel to achieve desired results
Additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service and retail management
Passion for learning and growth in the pet care sector
Friendly and outgoing personality with strong customer service abilities
Availability to work as scheduled, including weekends and evenings
Reliable transportation to and from the store
Ability to observe and mentor employees, providing feedback on sales techniques and customer service excellence
Capability to understand inter-team dynamics and escalate issues when necessary
Familiarity with POS systems
Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently
Experience in the industry is a plus
