Overview


Tony Roma's is seeking a dynamic Food and Beverage Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while providing food and beverage services in a fast-paced environment.


Job Description:


As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be the face of Tony Roma's, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and valued. Your responsibilities will include:



  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Preparing and serving specialty food at customers' tables;
  • Presenting bills to customers and accepting payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings;
  • Description menu items, including daily specials, to customers;
  • Advising on menu selections to enhance the dining experience;
  • Balancing cash and recording sales accurately;
  • Clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and organized environment;
  • Greeting patrons, presenting menus, making recommendations, and answering questions regarding food and beverages;
  • Performing sensory evaluation of wines to provide expert recommendations;
  • Serving food and beverages promptly and with a smile;
  • Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff efficiently;
  • Assisting clients/guests with special needs to ensure an inclusive experience;
  • Providing exceptional customer service to exceed expectations.

Requirements:



  • You have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • You have experience as a server or in a related role, which is an asset but not required;
  • You are able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner;
  • You are physically fit and able to stand for extended periods, work under pressure, and meet the demands of a busy restaurant environment.

Compensation:


We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 - $35,000 per year, based on experience and performance. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for career growth and development within our organization.


Work Setting:


This is a full-time position working in a restaurant setting. You will be required to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure seamless service delivery.
