Job Title: Server - Food and Beverage Services

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Alberta Ltd O/A New Asian Village. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and serve specialty food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Present bills to customers and process payments in a secure and accurate manner.
  • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Balance cash and record sales accurately and efficiently.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Supervise other servers and bussing staff to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
  • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a clear and concise manner.
  • Schedule staff and train new employees to ensure a high level of service.
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions:
  • 30-40 hours per week.
  • English language required.
