We are seeking a trustworthy and experienced childcare provider to join our household team.

Job Overview

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring the candidate to work 35-40 hours per week. The selected individual will be responsible for providing exceptional care to infants and children in a safe and healthy environment.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include competitive pay, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe home environment;
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children with attention to their physical and emotional needs;
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by parents while promoting positive behavior and self-esteem;
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development through play and educational activities;
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment by following proper safety protocols and reporting any concerns or incidents;
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of the children;
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods by establishing a calming and soothing routine;
  • Supervise and care for multi-aged groups of children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being;
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children by providing comfort, reassurance, and support when needed;
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience as a childcare provider or related field;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities;
  • Reliability and trustworthiness to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Client focus and ability to establish strong relationships with families and colleagues;
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in the employer's/client's home, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Public transportation is available, but a reliable means of transportation may be required for occasional outings.

A background check and reference verification will be conducted as part of the hiring process. The candidate must also comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding child care and safety.
