About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis at our LMC Bayview clinic in Toronto. As a member of our team, you will have access to established protocols, training, and support from our experienced endocrinologists and PA Program Lead.

- You will work under the supervision of an endocrinologist, providing medical care in endocrinology and diabetes, and participating in clinical research studies.
As a Physician Assistant in our Endocrinology department, your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing complete clinical assessments of patients, including obtaining history, performing physical assessments, requesting and reviewing diagnostic testing, and providing patient education in diabetes management and advanced skills.
- Managing, counseling, and educating patients through the implementation and adjustment of all diabetes and other endocrine therapies and monitoring systems.
- Consulting with supervising physicians as necessary and performing all patient care activities as per medical directives.
- Acting as a Sub-Investigator and coordinator for research studies, conducting study patient physicals, visits, performing queries, entering data, and following all requirements under the Research Standard Operating Procedures.
