About the OpportunityWe are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team on a permanent full-time basis at our LMC Downtown clinic in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will provide medical care in endocrinology and diabetes under the supervision of an endocrinologist, as well as contribute to clinical research studies in diabetes.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive clinical assessments of patients, including history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
- Manage and educate patients on diabetes management and advanced skills, including the implementation and adjustment of therapies and monitoring systems.
- Consult with supervising physicians as necessary and perform patient care activities as per medical directives.
- Act as Sub-Investigator and coordinator for research studies, conducting study patient physicals, visits, and data entry.
- You must have a university-based accredited Physician Assistant training program (Bachelor or Master level) and be a member in good standing of the Canadian Association of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
