Key Responsibilities

  1. Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients, ensuring their oral health needs are met.
  2. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, promoting healthy habits and regular dental visits.
  3. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
  4. Accurately document patient care and treatment plans in our dental software system, maintaining a secure and efficient record-keeping process.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols to safeguard patient and staff well-being.
  6. Communicate effectively with patients to address concerns or questions regarding their dental health, fostering trust and confidence in our services.
  7. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care, working together to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements and Qualifications

  1. Possess a valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist, upholding industry standards and regulations.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in medical terminology related to dentistry, enhancing your ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  3. Experience or knowledge in pediatrics and orthodontics is preferred, but not required; however, it may be beneficial in providing comprehensive care to our diverse patient base.
  4. Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental office management software is advantageous, streamlining your workflow and improving overall efficiency.
  5. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as enhanced patient communication can lead to improved outcomes and increased job satisfaction.
  6. Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus, although not mandatory; if applicable, highlight your transferable skills and adaptability in this role.

Work Schedule and Benefits

  • Hours of operation: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm, and alternating Fridays and Saturdays.
  • This full-time position comes with an estimated salary of $36.00 per hour and a guaranteed weekly schedule of 30-40 hours.
