Job Summary

Shifa Medical Clinic is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the flow of information and maintain accurate records
  • Manage incoming mail and other materials, and distribute them to the relevant staff members
  • Schedule appointments and confirm them with patients
  • Process insurance claims and maintain a filing system
  • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
  • Develop and implement office procedures and routines
  • Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
  • Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
  • Perform data entry and provide excellent customer service
  • Utilize MS Word, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Outlook to perform administrative tasks

Requirements

  • College diploma or certificate in a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a medical administrative role
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
