At Fionn MacCool's, we are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Oversee the preparation and portioning of food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Accurately estimate the quantity of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Manage Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Environment: Noisy, odours, wet/damp, and outdoors.
  • Work Setting: Food service establishment.
  • Tasks: Establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff, train staff, estimate ingredient and supplies required, hire food service staff, ensure quality control, prepare budget and cost estimates, address customers' complaints, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, prepare and submit reports, prepare food order summaries for chef, and supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Supervision: 11-15 people.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
