About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst and Reporting Tools Developer to join our team at Fidelity Investments. As a key member of our Senior Executive Team, you will provide analysis and guidance to support the growth and success of our business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy new reporting database tools and enhance existing reports and database reporting applications.
  • Research and analyze current reporting and business data needs, providing ongoing status reports and detailed documentation of tools and reporting procedures.
  • Devise and implement tools to automate and streamline processes, achieving efficiency for both business and finance users.
  • Maintain and re-engineer existing Business Intelligence, Access, and Excel-based reports.
  • Perform data cleansing and manipulation, working with multiple disparate data sources.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, information science, management information systems, business administration, or finance, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-4+ years of experience working with relational or multidimensional databases and SQL coding.
  • Strong skills in VBA programming, Access, Excel, and RPA applications.
  • Experience with current enterprise reporting applications, such as Business Objects, OBIEE, PowerBI, Snowflake, or Tableau, is an asset.
  • Experience working within the financial industry and/or the custody and clearing business is an asset.
