Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT professional to join our team as a Network Infrastructure Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the oil and gas industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and resolving service requests and high-priority incidents using ServiceNow. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting routers and switches, focusing on operational tasks.
  • Implementing new firewalls as part of large-scale projects.
  • Maintaining and configuring Wi-Fi infrastructure through Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) and DNA Center (DNA-C).
  • Managing routers and switches (Cisco/Juniper), load balancers (F5), and various management platforms (Cisco ISE/Prime/DNAC, F5 Big-IQ).
  • Handling network documentation and security appliances (Palo Alto, Cisco FMC/FTD, SonicWall).
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in the network industry, specifically in IT software.
  • 5+ years of experience with Wi-Fi management on Cisco platforms, including advanced authentication methods on Cisco ISE.
  • 8+ years of experience with maintenance and configurations in Wi-Fi infrastructure through WLCs and DNA-C, routers and switches (Cisco/Juniper), load balancers (F5), management platforms (Cisco ISE/Prime/DNAC, F5 Big-IQ) and network documentation, or security appliances (Palo Alto, Cisco FMC/FTD, Sonic Wall).
  • Extensive hands-on experience with troubleshooting and service recovery of escalated network and customer issues.
  • Post-secondary education in Networking technologies, Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent experience and certification).
Location and Salary

This position is based in Calgary, AB, and we offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
