Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is a leading provider of home and community-based healthcare services. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

About the Role

We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist who is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children with rehabilitation needs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering care in our School-Based Rehabilitation Program, working collaboratively with families, schools, and local healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver care to children with rehabilitation needs, assessing and treating pediatric clients with various needs, including speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.
  • Work collaboratively to provide patient care both virtually and in-person, using a systematic approach to decision-making during the development, implementation, and evaluation of clients.
  • Provide services involving short-term consultation, training, and intervention for specific rehabilitation needs, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Add, assign, and supervise Communication Disorders Assistant (CDA) as clinically appropriate.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities, using a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and policies applicable to practice.
