Join Our Team as a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Closing the Gap Healthcare Group is seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing care to children with rehabilitation needs in our School-Based Rehabilitation Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver care to children with rehabilitation needs, working collaboratively with families, schools, and local healthcare systems.
  • Provide patient care both virtually and in-person, utilizing your expertise to assess and treat pediatric clients with various needs.
  • Develop and implement short-term consultation, training, and intervention plans to address specific rehabilitation needs.
  • Assess and treat pediatric clients with speech sound delays and disorders, motor speech challenges, stuttering, and voice disorders.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and a proactive approach to patient care.
  • Supervise Communication Disorders Assistants as clinically appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario.
  • Valid G2/G driving license and access to a reliable insured vehicle.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
