Job Summary
The Server Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of our fine dining experience. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, working closely with our servers and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Expertly answer questions about food, beverage, and restaurant services, providing guests with a comprehensive understanding of our offerings.
- Assist with food running, ensuring that plates are delivered to the correct guests in a timely manner.
- Monitor the cleanliness of the dining area and ensure all materials and areas are clean and free from clutter.
- Communicate effectively with servers and hosts to maximize seating and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Practice a high level of floor awareness, clearing and cleaning as required.
- Ensure that condiments are pre-portioned and the fridges are stocked with essentials.
- Monitor food quality and presentation standards, adhering to our high standards.
- Follow all food safety standards and systems, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
- Empty garbage, change linen bags, and dispose of garbage and recycling.
- Communicate guest comments and information to servers to ensure a positive and memorable experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
- High attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to take direction and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent oral communication skills and high level of product knowledge.
- Ability to maintain a level of professional urgency and momentum.
