Environmental Sustainability Specialist

Kemptville, ON Full-time

Salary: $26.27 per hour

We are seeking an energetic and driven individual to support our growing company in waste diversion and the circular economy.

Job Duties:

  • Operate waste collection/recycling vehicles (Rear Pack and Manual side loader).
  • Loading curbside materials into the truck.
  • Observing safe work practices.
  • Providing excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
  • E nsuring assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Conducting pre and post trip inspections and completing Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.

Requirements:

  • A valid Ontario DZ driver's license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR.
  • A minimum one-year experience driving with DZ license OR an AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
  • The ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Able to successfully pass a background check consisting of an MTO medical/drug test, criminal history search, license verification, and employment confirmation.
  • Punctual, reliable, team player.
