Job Description

The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at the University of Regina invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor level in any area of chemistry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a funded research program in chemistry, with a focus on teaching and research excellence.
  • Teach introductory chemistry, general chemistry, and organic chemistry at the first and second year levels.
  • Contribute to the department's research and teaching initiatives, and participate in departmental service and governance.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in chemistry, with research interests in any area of chemistry.
  • Minimum of one year of professional research experience beyond the Ph.D.
  • Publication record that demonstrates contributions to the research area.
  • Commitment to undergraduate teaching and research.
