Faculty Member, Biostatistics in Population, Public, Clinical Health, Health Services Research

We are seeking a highly qualified individual for a tenure-track biostatistics faculty position at the assistant professor level in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology, College of Medicine.

Research Focus

The research area is focused on biostatistical methods for population and public health, clinical, or health services research.

Responsibilities
  • Serving as the director of the Clinical Research Support Unit (CRSU)
  • Graduate level teaching and supervision of graduate student and post-doctoral research projects within the department
  • Participation in relevant administrative activities, committee work, public and professional service appropriate to rank

Qualifications
  • PhD in Biostatistics or equivalent discipline
  • Experience in Machine Learning, Bayesian Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, or Longitudinal Data Analysis
  • Post-doctoral experience in areas of application such as biostatistical methods for population and public health, clinical or health services research
