Cloud Platform Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Specialist to join our Monitoring and Alerting team within Operations and Service Enablement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable solutions for our cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyzing technical information from various sources to provide effective solutions and strategies for improving service and processes in complex environments.
- Ensuring high standards, policies, and service levels are adhered to through the installation and maintenance of products and services.
- Reviewing existing deployments and identifying gaps or improvements in application and performance.
- Evaluating, planning, and leading on new Systems Management technologies and initiatives to ensure customer interests are at the heart of everything we do.
- Inputting into risk processes and conforming with SOX and ITEC processes.
- Mentoring and nurturing junior team members, developing their knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- Experience in the pipeline delivery and management of Dynatrace on cloud platforms.
- Previous design and delivery of solutions for Dynatrace implementations, configuration integrations, and APIs.
- Cloud DevOps tooling skills, including GitHub, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Spinnaker.
- Scripting skills across multiple languages, including PERL, BASH, SHELL, HTML, XML, C, SQL, JavaScript, JSP, XSLT, Python, and Jython.
- Collaboration and influencing skills to bring colleagues on board with new ideas.
- Proactive approach to balancing workload and competing priorities, identifying next steps, and gathering support within senior management.
Desirable Skills
- Technical knowledge of traditional platforms, including UNIX, Linux, Windows, and VMWare.
- Networking skills, including TCP/IP, SOAP, WAN infrastructure, LAN, switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, HTTP, and HTTPS.
