About the Role

Gus's Restaurant is seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate special events and ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
