Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Canadas Best Value Inn & Suites. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
  • Operate dishwashers and washing machines to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, and cupboards
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and maintain a clean and organized storage area
  • Assist with food preparation and packaging, including cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
