The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high customer satisfaction.
- 2-3 years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Excellent culinary skills, with knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and safety.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a culinary arts degree or certification an asset.
