Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new cooking techniques and equipment training for kitchen staff.
  • Supervise and train specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute weddings, banquets, and specialty functions.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for multiple restaurants.
  • Prepare and present dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Supervise and train sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement staff training programs for food preparation, cooking, and handling.
Requirements:
  • 1-6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 hours per week.
