The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and a passion for building scalable and reproducible data systems. They will be responsible for analyzing existing systems, documenting fields and functions, and relating current systems to industry standards to help build a new system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze several existing systems to document fields and functions.
- Relate current systems to industry standards to help build a new system.
- Manage the execution of data analytics projects to drive value and gain insight from information.
- Analyze and review the use of advanced data analysis techniques that leverage technology to process large volumes of data, and perform complex computations in a scalable, reproducible, and automated manner.
- Use data analysis to detect patterns leading to more efficient testing and data quality.
- Perform data analytics to identify and mitigate audit risks and achieve data automation, reconciliation, traceability, lineage, and transparency.
- Use data analytics to provide actionable, timely, and accurate data to drive business insights around regulatory risk, compliance, operations, and finance.
- Familiar with data sourcing, data capture, data transformation, and data preparation techniques.
- Familiarity with Data Binning and K-means Clustering and applying those techniques.
- Working knowledge of core financial processes and related risks and controls and underlying data structures would be beneficial.
